Written Answers - Suckler Cow Quota.
The person named has applied for an allocation of suckler cow quota from the 1998 national reserve. I have accepted the recommendations of the quota review group which gave priority in the allocation of quota from this reserve to eligible applicants with low livestock units. It is estimated that all the available quota will be utilised to eligible applicants with fewer than ten livestock units. As the person already has ten livestock units, it is unlikely that he will receive an allocation of quota from this reserve.
