Ceist:222 Mr. Higgins (Mayo) asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when it is proposed to approve the necessary finance for Killala sewerage scheme, County Mayo. [10648/98]
Written Answers. - Water and Sewerage Schemes.
This scheme is included in my Department's 1998 water and sewerage services investment programme to be advanced through planning. Contract documents for a marine outfall survey have been approved and tender proposals for the survey are currently awaited from the local authority. Funding for the various stages of the scheme will be provided in accordance with approvals given under the investment programme.
