26 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when he will establish the promised committee to advise on and monitor the role of women in agriculture; its proposed membership and terms of reference; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13384/98]
My Department is consulting with relevant organisations and agencies on the establishment of the committee to advise on and monitor the role of women in agriculture. It is envisaged that the membership and terms of reference of the committee will be agreed once the process of consultation has been completed.
