The person named is not the registered herd owner as required by the terms and conditions governing the headage and premia schemes. Following receipt of applications under the 1996 cattle headage and special beef premium schemes by the person named, my Department wrote to him on 13 June 1996 and 4 September 1996 requesting that he provide legal documentary evidence to verify change of ownership of the holding. To date, my Department has not received a reply to those letters. The person named has not applied under the 1997 or 1998 livestock schemes administered by my Department.
