I propose to take Questions Nos. 40, 163 and 197 together.

Personnel located in Murphy Barracks, Ballincollig are being relocated to Collins Barracks, Cork. Personnel in Fitzgerald Camp, Fermoy have been relocated to Kilworth Camp and Collins Barracks, Cork. Twenty members of 1 Cavalry Squadron have been relocated to Kilworth Camp, Cork and the remaining personnel have moved to Collins Barracks, Cork. The personnel located in Devoy Barracks, Naas and Magee Barracks, Kildare are being relocated in the Curragh Camp.

Personnel located at Castleblayney Military Post have been offered transfers within the area of operations of the 27 Infantry Battalion at Aiken Barracks, Dundalk and in Monaghan.

The closure of Clancy Barracks is not due to be completed until mid 2000 and planning in this regard is ongoing.
