Ceist:

75 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Defence the plans, if any, he has for the future of Devoy Barracks, Naas, County Kildare, in view of the decision of his Department to discontinue its current use; whether the building will be retained for educational uses; and the further plans, if any, he has for the existing full-time staff engaged in instruction in the barracks. It is intended that Devoy Barracks will be disposed of by public tender. Discussions are at present ongoing with the Department of Education and Science regarding the requirement for teachers in the new training arrangements.
