Burke asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if a person (details supplied) in County Galway will receive additional cow suckler quota in 1998 from the national reserve in view of the fact he is a farmer with a small existing quota; and if he will make a statement on the matter. There is no record in my Department of having received an application form for an allocation of suckler cow quota from the 1998 national reserve from the person named.
The closing date for receiving such applications was 16 January 1998.
