460 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Health and Children the expenditure, capital and revenue in the past three years by all health boards in the physical and sensory sector. [21776/98]

Services to people with physical and sensory disabilities are part of the generic services provided by health boards to the population generally and it is not possible to isolate the element of these services which are specific to people with physical and sensory disabilities. I can say however, what additional funding has been allocated to services for people with physical and sensory disabilities in the period in question and this information is given in the table following. Since coming in to office, this Government has made available additional funding totalling £18.4 million for services in the physical and sensory disability sector.
