236 Mr. Shatter asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will publish the hospital waiting lists as at 30 September 1998; the total number of persons nationally on waiting lists in respect of each specialty; and if he will give the extent of the waiting list for each hospital in the State and each specialty. [25840/98]
The information requested by the Deputy is set out in the following tables.
I will shortly be announcing the steps that I have put in place so that waiting lists and, most importantly waiting times, can be reduced substantially in the coming year.
