Ceist:189 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when a person (details supplied) in County Mayo will receive 1998 sheep and cattle headage grants; and the reason the area aid unit has not contacted him if there is a difficulty with his application. [26972/98]
The person named was paid his full entitlement of £560 under the 1998 sheep headage scheme on 8 December 1998.
Payment amounting to £735.80 under the 1998 cattle headage scheme has now issued to the person named.

The area aid application for the person named has been processed. Payments have issued in respect of suckler cow premium and special beef premium. Cattle headage payments will issue as soon as possible.
