467 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for Finance if a transfer will be authorised for a person (details supplied) in view of the fact that she has purchased a house and is under tremendous financial pressure to pay rent and a mortgage; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2012/99]
The situation is that transfers for members of the grade concerned are arranged in accordance with the central transfer scheme agreed with the staff side of general council under the conciliation and arbitration scheme for the civil service. My Department has been in contact with those Departments which have offices in Sligo but, unfortunately, it is not possible to estimate when the particular officer's place on the relevant transfer list for Sligo will be reached.
