133 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if his attention has been brought to issues (details supplied) raised regarding the new Garda station at Blanchardstown, Dublin 15; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2293/99]
I am aware of the issues referred to in the Deputy's question. I am, however, satisfied, following consultation with the Garda authorities, that, in terms of location, build quality and facilities, the new Garda station in Blanchardstown fully meets the needs of the gardaí and the local community.
