Vol. 499 No. 3

Written Answers - Hospital Services.

Ceist:

233 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Health and Children if he will have arrangements made for a person (details supplied) in Dublin 12 to receive appropriate medical treatment from her general practitioner and St James' Hospital, Dublin 8, as soon as possible; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2433/99]

The provision of treatment in this case is a matter, in the first instance, for St. James's Hospital. I have, therefore, asked the chief executive officer to investigate this matter and reply directly to the Deputy.
