138 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the number, description and identity of contracts, consultancies or disbursements entered into, awarded or approved by his Department since coming into office; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2653/99]
As the Deputy will appreciate a considerable number of contracts, consultancies and disbursements have been entered into by my Department since June 1997. Given the limited time available it was not possible to compile all the information; however, that which was available is set out hereunder. I will communicate directly with the Deputy when the remaining material is available.

The case arose following the decision by the then Minister for Energy, on 12 May 1990, to exclude Croagh Patrick from the scope of exploration licences issued under the Minerals Development Acts, 1940 to 1979, on the basis of the cultural, heritage and religious significance of the ground. |
