126 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 410 of 27 January 1999, it was acknowledged by his officials that the tag on one animal was worn; and when the outstanding payment will be made. [4621/99]
The person named applied on 25 May 1998 for suckler cow premium in respect of five cows. One of the tag numbers was duplicated and this meant that only four valid tag numbers were listed. The cows were inspected and five cows were presented but the tag number of the fifth cow bears no resemblance to the deleted tag number on the claim. Full payment has issued to the person named in respect of the four cows declared.
127 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if payment of an outstanding additional grant in respect of reactors under the hardship scheme will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Kilkenny where a tax free certificate has been submitted to his Department as requested. A tax clearance certificate was presented by the person named on 8 February 1999. Payment under the hardship grant scheme for the period 3 December 1998 to 2 January 1999 will issue shortly to the herd owner
128 Mr. Finucane asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if a ten month beef premium will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Limerick. [4643/99]
The person named submitted two special beef premium applications on 3 December 1998, one ten month application in respect of 17 animals and one 22 month application in respect of four animals. The earliest date for payment of December 1998 applications is mid March 1999. This is to allow full processing of the applications in accordance with the terms and conditions of the scheme, expiry of the two month retention period and verification against the relative area aid declaration.
