Ceist:134 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Health and Children the proposals, if any, there are to make the drug creatine available by prescription only and if he will make a statement on the matter. [4481/99]

There are no proposals at this time to make the substance creatine available by prescription only. However, the appropriate classification for this substance will be considered in a review of the Medicinal Products (Prescription and Control of Supply) Regulations, 1996 which it is intended to carry out later this year.
