68 Dr. Upton asked the Minister for Public Enterprise if she will give details of the purpose and cost of any research on public opinion undertaken in her Department in 1998; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [4674/99]
The only public opinion research carried out on behalf of my Department in 1998 was that undertaken by Citigate Dewe Rogerson/Drury Communications who undertook the preliminary phase of a qualitative and quantitative market research programme into the Telecom Éireann initial public offering. The cost was £22,385.
