265 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Finance the position in regard to the provision of a Garda station in Leixlip, County Kildare; the proposed status of this station; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5686/99]
I would refer the Deputy to my reply to Question No. 496 from Deputy Stagg on 27 January in this matter. There have been no further developments to date.
With regard to the status of the station, the Garda authorities have indicated that Leixlip is now a sub-district and this will be the status of the new station.
