331 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands the estimated costs expended by her Department since 1991 in the various stages of the proposed development at Mullaghmore, County Clare, including expenses by her Department for environmental impact studies, court costs, consultant costs and staffing at the site; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Expenditure incurred to date on the Mullaghmore project amounts to some £2.2 million inclusive of the cost of some land purchases, construction and associated costs, disruption costs following the suspension of works in 1993, site safety works, and costs associated with the current planning application.
