97 Mr. Stanton asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the input, if any, she has made into any review of the planning laws to ensure that the needs of enterprise development are taken into account; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [8601/99]
Forfás submitted a proposal to the Department of the Environment and Local Government in relation to accelerated planning procedures for certain strategically important industries. Consideration of this fast-track planning proposal was subsequently incorporated into the overall review of the planning system being undertaken by my colleague, the Minister for the Environment and Local Government.
