Ceist:

388 Mr. Hogan asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if he will include group water schemes (details supplied) in County Kilkenny under the European Regional Development Fund co-finance group scheme expenditure for 1999; if he will consider these schemes favourably in view of the fact that County Kilkenny did not receive any grant under this expenditure heading in 1998; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Commitments on projects already approved for European Regional Development Fund co-financing under the current operational programme are being assessed at present. The schemes referred to will be considered, along with other proposals from the local authorities, in the event of any balance of the European Regional Development Fund funds being available on completion of the current assessment.
