566 Mr. Currie asked the Minister for Education and Science if he will deal with the proposal for the Lucan educate together school in view of the offer by South Dublin County Council (details supplied) to sell to his Department a site at Willsbrook, Lucan; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Before my Department is in a position to finalise the purchase of the site in question, a full site survey will need to be undertaken.

An official of my Department has recently been in contact with South Dublin County Council and has explained the position. When the survey has been undertaken and if the site is found to be satisfactory from a technical point of view, my Department will again be in contact with the county council.
