570 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Education and Science his response to the numerous appeals from the management, parents and past pupils of Coláiste Mhuire, Parnell Square, Dublin 1, that the buildings be refurbished and that the Vocational School on Parnell Square be used as a temporary location while refurbishment takes place. I have recently approved in principle the refurbishment of Colaiste Mhuire, Parnell Square, Dublin 1.

Officials in the planning and building unit will be in contact with the school shortly to progress the project.

The question of relocation for the duration of proposed refurbishment works is a matter to be considered and explored by the school authority.
