72 Mr. Ring asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment further to Parliamentary Question No. 145 of 20 April 1999 the details of the 700 new jobs created since the North Mayo Enterprise Initiative was established on 10 July 1997; and the number of these jobs which have come into being since the announcements. In response to Parliamentary Question No. 145 of 20 April 1999 I stated that, since 10 July 1997, I had announced the creation of over 700 new jobs for the region. In fact the number of jobs exceeds 800. The details of these announcements are as follows:
