The forest premium payment was issued to the person in question on 17 May 1999.

Ceist:127 Mr. Perry asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources if payment of a forestry maintenance grant will be released for a person (details supplied) in County Sligo in view of the fact that the plantation would have been severely damaged if maintenance was not carried out and a contract signed; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I understand the person in question has not applied for the maintenance grant for this plantation. Until such time as an application is made, the forest service of my Department is unable to process any maintenance grant or subsequent premiums.
