188 Cecilia Keaveney asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources the position in relation to a forestry grant application by a person (details supplied) in County Donegal; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [18216/99]
The afforestation grant in this case was paid in December 1998. Payment of the forestry premium has been withheld pending receipt of documentation relating to the applicant's status as a farmer. I understand that the applicant has been written to in relation to this matter in the last few days by the forest service of my Department.
