Ceist:490 Mr. Shatter asked the Minister for Health and Children the moneys spent by his Department in each of the past 30 years in departmental advertising or other departmental promotions regarding the health risk of smoking; the moneys paid out by his Department by way of grants in each of the past thirty years to health boards or non-governmental organisations to engage in anti-smoking campaigns or to undertake other appropriate action to discourage smoking; and the reason this information, as first sought by way of Parliamentary Question No. 230 on the 18 May 1999, has not yet been furnished.
