Ceist:

915 Mr. Timmins asked the Minister for Education and Science if his Department disposed of any assets or property with a value of or greater than £200,000 between 1987 and 1992 inclusive without going to public tender; if so, if he will give details and circumstances of these sales; and the reason for the decision not to go to public tender. Minister for Education and Science (Mr. Martin):

A preliminary analysis of records within my Department suggests that neither assets nor property were disposed of with a value of £200,000 or more within the period 1987 to 1992 inclusive without adherence to public tender procedures. However, a more thorough analysis is ongoing, the results of which will be conveyed to the Deputy at the earliest possible opportunity.
