916 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Education and Science the progress to date on the application by the board of management of St. Fiacre's national school, Skeoughvasteen, County Kilkenny, for grant aid in respect of works required at the school. [18126/99]
My Department has no record of a recent application from St. Fiacre's national school, Skeoughvasteen, for grant aid towards works at the school.
The school did apply for grant aid towards various works in early 1998. The school manager was advised by my Department to carry out the works using the funds provided under the scheme for minor improvement works to national school properties.
