My office is in the process of finalising the purchase of a site for a new district Headquarters in Kilrush. A revised sketch scheme was recently forwarded to the Department of Justice, Equality and Law Reform for approval. Planning consultation and the preparation of contract documentation will then follow.
It is anticipated that building work should commence in mid 2000, funds permitting.
