98 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Education and Science the reason the 1997 Government decision, to locate an outreach centre of Cork Institute of Technology using a high level of telematic delivery of educational programmes at Skibbereen on a pilot project basis, was not implemented; and if he will make a statement on the matter. Cork Institute of Technology have submitted proposals for the development of outreach provision in Skibbereen. These proposals are under consideration in my Department in conjunction with the Department of Finance.
