Bruton asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if his attention has been drawn to the fact that, following the decision of the Supreme Court that the prosecution of indictable offences under the Fire Acts could only be undertaken by the DPP, Dublin Corporation has sent at least six files to the DPP for prosecution on the recommendation of his Department and more cases have been prosecuted; the number of cases referred by other councils; the number prosecuted; and if he will make a statement on the matter [21749/99]
