195 Mr. Penrose asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development if, further to Parliamentary Question No. 240 of 2 November 1999, a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath undertakes to discharge his total arrears with the Land Commission, the lands will be immediately vested in that person; and if he will make a statement on the matter. As the arrears have been accumulating since 1993, my Department will examine the position with a view to early vesting provided the arrears are paid and the beneficial occupier gives written consent allowing my Department to offset any premia and headage grants, etc, against any future build-up of arrears.
