223 Ms Clune asked the Minister for Finance if his attention has been drawn to the submission from the Centre for Independent Living on the need for a fund; his opinion of the merits of such a scheme; if he will provide funding for such a scheme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have received the pre-budget submission referred to. As is the case with all pre-budget submissions, I can assure the Deputy that the matters raised will be borne in mind in the preparation of the forthcoming budget.
