347 Mr. Aylward asked the Minister for Arts, Heritage, Gaeltacht and the Islands the progress to date on the transfer of property (details supplied) from Kilkenny County Council to her Department; and when works will be carried out to preserve the church and burial ground. [22346/99]
The church and graveyard at Tullaroan, County Kilkenny, is to be transferred from Kilkenny County Council to my Department as soon as the council has established clear title to the property. I am awaiting the relevant documents from the council, but I understand that they may take some months to complete. Essential conservation works will be undertaken following the transfer.
