Ceist:382 Mr. Creed asked the Minister for Education and Science if his Department has received a request for funding in respect of improvements to the access road to De La Salle College, Macroom, County Cork. [24922/99]
Written Answers. - Road Improvements.
My Department's post primary building unit has received a request from Macroom Urban District Council for funding towards the cost of the purchase of a property on, and improvements to Barrack Lane, which serves Macroom Garda station, the courthouse and De La Salle College.
My Department is not in a position to grant-aid these works as they are outside the vested site of De La Salle College.
