My Department's planning and building unit is prepared to consider an application for grant-aid from the chairperson of the board of management of Aphort national school, Arranmore Island, County Donegal.
However, any such application for repairs and remedial work would have to be assessed having regard to the long-term staffing and enrolment situation at the school and the overall primary school accommodation requirements on the island.
