I propose to take Questions Nos. 301 and 302 together.

Local authorities are notified by my Department of their capital allocations for the payment of house purchase loans and improvement loans, disabled person's and essential repairs grants at the beginning of the year to which they relate. Accordingly, the allocations for 2000 have not yet been made.
