300 Mr. Stagg asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government if his Department issued guidelines in relation to the maximum planning fees which can be charged by local authorities for planning applications; and, if so, the guidelines in this regard. [26737/99]

Fees for planning applications are set out in the Local Government (Planning and Development) (Fees) (Amendment) (No. 2) Regulations, 1998 (S.I. No. 128 of 1998) and include maximum and minimum fee amounts.
