Written Answers. - Round Tower Improvements.
I am pleased to inform the Deputy that Rattoo Round Tower is in good structural condition. It is the intention of my Department to provide an access staircase on the exterior to permit limited public access to the interior of the tower. Preparatory works were undertaken during the year, but further work was not possible due to staff shortages. My Department is pursuing the recruitment of the necessary staff and the works will continue as soon as recruitment has taken place.
