The provision of an Alzheimer's unit in Carndonagh Community Hospital is included in the North-Western Health Board's capital development plan which has been submitted to my Department. The board has indicated that it regards this development as a priority. This project will be considered in the context of the capital funding available under the national development plan and the North-Western Health Board's overall priorities for capital projects.
