30 Proinsias De Rossa asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Rural Development the steps, if any, he has taken to implement an on-farm valuations scheme as agreed under the new national programme; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9691/00]

My Department is currently examining all aspects involved in the implementation of the on-farm valuation system as agreed under the Programme for Prosperity and Fairness. It is intended to arrange an early meeting with the farming organisations to discuss the details involved.
