248 Mr. Kenneally asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the number of gardaí in Waterford, Galway and Limerick; the ratio of gardaí to population in each of these cities; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [10124/00]

I have asked the Garda authorities – who are responsible for the detailed allocation of Garda personnel to individual areas – for the particular information sought by the Deputy. As soon as this information is to hand, I will communicate further with the Deputy.
