105 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for the Marine and Natural Resources if he will give details of any surveys of Dublin Bay authorised or part funded by him; the purpose of the survey in each case; the estimated cost; and the access by the public to the process. [11135/00]
My Department has approved grant aid for Dublin Corporation, at the rate of 75% and subject to a maximum of £112,500, towards the costs of a consultancy study of the effects of breaching the Bull Island Causeway. Dublin Corporation has advised my Department that consultants have now been appointed and will consult interested parties as part of the study.
