202 Mr. McGuinness asked the Minister for Health and Children the reasons for the delay in processing an application under the disabled persons grant scheme by a person (details supplied) in County Carlow; and if, in view of her medical circumstances, he will expedite the application. [14331/00]
The assessment of an application for a grant under the DPG scheme in any individual case is a matter for the relevant health board. Accordingly, the Deputy's question has been referred to the chief executive officer, South Eastern Health Board with a request that he examine the query and reply directly to the Deputy, as a matter of urgency.
