296 Mr. Ring asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform the reason incorrect documents have now issued twice from the Land Registry Office for a person, details supplied, in County Mayo with the boundaries incorrectly marked, despite repeated requests from the solicitors for correct documents; if he will have investigations made into this matter; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I refer the Deputy to my previous answers to Parliamentary Question No. 159 on 6 April 2000 and Question No. 479 on 10 May 2000.
I am informed by the Registrar of Titles that this application for a certified copy filed plan was lodged on 18 May 2000 and completed on 19 May 2000. I am further informed that the boundaries shown on the filed plan as issued are correct. As already outlined in the answer to Question No. 159 of 6 April 2000, this certified copy filed plan has issued partly on a six inch scale and the remaining part on a 25 inch scale. The reason for this is that no 25 inch scale map has been published in respect of the part of the filed plan shown on the six inch scale.
