The South Eastern Health Board has established a project team to consider the development requirements of St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny in the context of the board's strategic plan for the development of services in Kilkenny city. My Department is represented on this project team and is involved, in this context, in the detailed planning work required to progress this development.
The board's proposals under the national development plan include the development of services at St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny. The question of progressing this development will be a matter for agreement between my Department and the board.
