Ceist:150 Mr. Quinn asked the Minister for the Environment and Local Government when work on the sewerage scheme for Limerick junction will commence; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16258/00]

I understand that Tipperary County Council is at present examining tenders for this scheme which has been approved for funding under the rural towns and villages initiative. Work is expected to commence later this year.
