65 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Education and Science if he is in a position to confirm that the planning phase of the West Cork Third Level Campus to be established in Skibbereen can go ahead; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [16171/00]

Cork Institute of Technology, formerly Cork Regional Technical College, has submitted proposals for an outreach provision in Skibbereen. These proposals are the subject of ongoing discussions.
