986 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Education and Science if the request of the business interests in Talbot Street, Dublin 1, that his Department's windows fronting Talbot Street be properly cleaned will be acted on. [19372/00]
There is no record of a request regarding window cleaning having been received in my Department on behalf of the business interests in Talbot Street, Dublin 1. My Department endeavours to ensure that the windows and surroundings in all its buildings are cleaned regularly. Arrangements are in place in Talbot House for the cleaning of the windows on a regular basis. In view of the Deputy's question I have directed that these windows be checked to ensure that the arrangements are effective.
